There are six departmental associations resident in the School of Management Sciences of the Polytechnic. These include National Association of Office Technology and Management Students (NAOTAMS), National Association of Marketing Students (NAMS), National Association of Business Administration and Management Students (NABAMS), National Association of Banking and Finance Students (NABAFS), National Association of Polytechnic Accountancy Students, and National Association of Public Administration Students (NASPAS). The purpose of the Associations is to represent members both within the department and including on School Management issues.

The Associations run series of programmes in a session such as organising of Congress Meeting(s) to welcome both old and new members on campus; dinner and award night, organisation of excursion for its members, and organisation of football matches (Rector’s, Dean’s and HOD’s cups), conducting of elections to elect officers who represent the members in administration of the Associations and lastly handing over ceremony.
